Yes, rAge is still happening!

Lately there has been some doubt within the community to whether rAge 2009 will actually happen, and whether Telkom will be back with their second ever competitive LAN event.

We can confirm with 100% certainty that rAge will take place from the 2nd to 4th of October 2009, and should be bigger and better than the years before. Entrance will be R250 for the weekend, which will give gamers access to the open LAN and the expo.

Even without official confirmation, Telkom will most likely host LAN events for their two most popular titles this year, Call of Duty 4 and Counter-Strike: Source. These titles have been part of Do Gaming's successful online leagues, and will conclude with a LAN final at rAge.

Community favorite titles such as Team Fortress 2 and DotA will need to pick up their commitment to competitive gameplay, and hopefully convince the organiser's that these games will be viable picks for LAN tournaments at rAge.
